After three years of relative quiet online, Moving Roots is happy to welcome you to our renewed website.
The new website brings together a growing collection of resources about Moving Roots’ artistic practice, past works, current research, collaborations and learning opportunities. It is designed as both a record of where we have been and an evolving space for what comes next.
Visitors can explore the expanded Archive, which documents Moving Roots’ contemporary dance and circus works, along with the artists and ideas that shaped them.
The new Creation Lab offers a closer look at recent projects and works in development. This section creates room for artistic research, unfinished questions and projects that continue to evolve through experimentation and collaboration.
Moving Roots is also expanding its Learning resources. The website now brings together online Contortion & Handstand Classes, the Private Flexibility Intensive, and pages for upcoming and past workshops. These formats offer different ways to work with Anastasia Evsigneeva, from regular group practice to focused individual coaching and special workshop experiences.
The renewed website also reflects Moving Roots’ interest in initiating and contributing to cross-disciplinary projects. Anastasia welcomes opportunities to work with musicians, visual artists, filmmakers, dancers, circus performers and other creative practitioners, as a choreographer, performer, collaborator or outside eye.
The new Hire Me to Create page introduces these possibilities and invites artists, directors, producers and creative teams to share their ideas. Moving Roots is particularly interested in projects that bring different artistic languages together and create space for curiosity, exchange and unexpected forms of movement.
This website will continue to grow as new projects, workshops and collaborations develop. We invite you to explore the work, revisit the archive and discover the many ways of creating and learning with Moving Roots.
Welcome! Or welcome back.
