“I seek to continue the meticulous work of a jeweler in my new practice of body movement. To develop timeless pieces that can be worn in everyone’s mind and create an unconscious collective imagination.”

Lorenzo was born in Tuscany, Italy, before immigrating to Montreal at the age of two. He began expressing his artistic side at a young age through drawing, sculpture, and music. He started his artistic career as a high-end jeweler for the family business, SERAFINO.
In 2019, he discovered a new passion for circus arts. He enrolled in the preparatory program at the Verdun Circus School and in Stéphanie Decourteille’s contemporary dance program, Big Bang. He attended workshops and intensive courses with renowned artists to broaden his experience in both technical and artistic aspects.
Specializing in contortion, hair suspension, and hand balancing, Lorenzo develops his artistic physicality primarily through creative projects, both solo and in groups, and by working in private sessions with coaches. He currently performs in LABO by Collectif 4237, Le Camion d’Intervention Artistique by Bazar Production, Pendule by La Caravane à Pied, and TesserA, an aquatic contemporary dance project with Maria Papathanasiou.
Since 2025, Lorenzo has co-produced the show Eba Amo with Nicolas Van-Yurick and Emmanuel Cyr.
Collaboration with Moving Roots
In January 2026, Lorenzo collaborated with Anastasia Evsigneeva on Vices Versus Virtues & Vice Versa, also known as Dante’s Inferno, an ongoing Creation Lab project. Their collaboration brings Lorenzo’s contortion and hair-suspension practice into dialogue with Anastasia’s contemporary dance and contortion work, exploring desire, agency, and the environments we create between ourselves.
